Here's the new one to practice. Nice hu? Good luck with it. Tomorrow we'll upload the full photo.
How did you do with this one? It's from this monthly magazine. It's very similar to Readers Digest in America. Could you read it???? It said archives. We're not sure if you all want us to add the English translation like I just did there. We'll do it once in a while and see how it goes.
Tons of people have downloaded the ebook from the site here, and I hope after reading about my experience and my recommendations, you guys have a good idea how to get started on your own journey to learn Japanese. It's exciting isn't it?
For me personally, I had no idea where to begin, and I wish I would have had someone to give me some pointers when I was just starting.
So read my ebook, so you don't waste time like I did in the beginning trying to figure out where and how to get started.
The sites I recommend, are linked on this Blog in the right Sidebar. I am an affiliate of some, and some of them I'm not. All of them are good though. I've spent time using their courses and I think any of them would work for the beginner. Read my eBook for more details about that.
Anyway, I just want to encourage you to get started learning Japanese. If you have a question that isn't answered in the ebook, go ahead and leave your question in the Comments here on the Blog and I'll try and give you an answer. Talk to you later.....have a good one.
Here's the new one for today. Very simple font....and it is another English word. We hope this is helping you to get used to reading different fonts. See you tomorrow for the full photo of this one.
So we hope you figured this one out yesterday before we posted this full photo.
Here's today's photo. It is an easy font to read, and is in Katakana which will tip you off that it is not a Japanese word but rather a word from another country. In fact it is English. So, see you soon with the full photo.
How did you do? Could you read yesterday's picture? This is a favorite dish at small Japanese restaurants, and we often joke that if a new restaurant opens and Curry is not on the menu, the restaurant will fail to stay in business. Curry really is that popular.
This is a cool looking font.....black with what and gold outline. Have fun with the practice. We'll upload the whole thing tomorrow.
How did you do with this one? It's easy to read, but hard to understand what it is unless you are looking at the entire thing right? The sara - is short for salad. The maka - is short for macaroni. So this is salad macaroni. I don't use it in macaroni salad or any salad though. We use it with alfredo sauce, or spaghetti sauce. Did you notice that it cooks in 8 minutes. We usually cook it in the microwave so the kitchen doesn't get all hot by boiling water on the stove.
Here's the new practice reading for today...this comes from two words in English, but both have been shortened to form this one word in Japanese. We'll post the full photo tomorrow. Have a good day.
Yesterday's was this tin of sea chicken "fancy". Were you able to understand it?
Here's today's new practice Japanese picture. This is a standard grocery store font. We'll upload the full photo tomorrow.
This is a toy that teaches Hiragana for children. Doesn't the font make it look like fun to play with? You open it up like a personal planner and there is an lcd screen and a hiragana keyboard. cool...
This is a colorful font hu? It's not a word, but it is good practice. We'll have the full picture tomrrow.
So how did you do with yesterday's Japanese practice? Hey...look at that...the translation is on the package...hee hee. These are good mints.
Here''s todays Japanese practice photo. This should be easy to read but unless you live in Japan you won't know what the product is. So just try and understand the word here. Okay....see you tomorrow with the full photo.
So here's the full photo of yesterday's blurry pic. Our dog must have bumped the camera when I took it. So did you figure out the Katakana?
Not too interesting of a font. Very basic, but good practice none the less.
We hope you could read yesterday's practice word. Here's the entire picture. It's good to practice even a little bit daily isn't it?
